The concert premiered Singapore's first-ever quintet, "The Vamshika Quintet", bringing together some of Singapore's finest Indian classical flautists. The concert also featured Rit Xu on the western flute and Jack Ng on the Suona. The concert featured five compositions and arrangements of Indian classical music repertoire. 

The concert was critically acclaimed as it was for the very first time; the concert brought Singapore's finest flautists all on one stage.

Venu Nadam: The Story Of Its Origin, with the support of National Arts Council (Singapore) and organised by Brahmastra

Brahmastra alongside multi-ethnic instrumentalists with featured singers performed for "The Tunes Of Somerset Belt" as part of Somerfest 2022, powered by the National Youth Council (Singapore). The concert was held at the Youth Park on 27th November 2022 from 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.

One of the songs, "Every Time We Play", has been released on all digital platforms. 

Songs were composed and produced by multi-hyphenate Niranjan Pandian.

My Identity - To Seek Within

Brahmastra presents என் அடையாளம் (My Identity), where we share five inspiring stories of youths who have discovered themselves through the creative arts and music.

These five stories have inspired five original compositions and dance works performed by Brahmastra alongside Ananya B., Krithika Soma, Samyukta Venkatraman, Taneshvari, Vaaheni and Vilvam Ramu.

Music composed by multi-award winning flautist and composer, Niranjan Pandian.

Rainforest World Music Festival 2022 by Flame of the Forest

Flame of the Forest had represented for the 25th Rainforest World Music Festival 2022 held at Sarawak. Niranjan was part of the band for the performance and it was a wonderful and spectacular performance by the band.

7 Wonders of Tamil

7 Wonders of Tamil under the production of renowned musician, Niranjan Pandian went successfully as the performance showcased seven various facts of Tamil Language. The concert also launched the official music video, Enathu Tamizhe featuring playback singer Haricharan alongside numerous local singers. The concert also launched the music album, Tamizhe which is now available across all digital streaming platforms.

Music Composed by Niranjan Pandian featuring Lalit Kumar Ganesh (Tabla), Jayagowtham Annadurai (Mirdangam), Akshara Thirukumaran (Parai) and Sriram Seshadri (Violin). 

3 tracks namely Goddess In Me, The Heritage and Navaratnas was released for the dance music video by Tattva in-conjunction with the Tamil Language Festival 2022.

Artwalk 2022 by LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore Tourism Board (STB): 7 Wonders of Little India

Brahmastra Collectives performs 7 Wonders of Little India for Artwalk 2022 as part of Singapore Arts Week and organised by LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore Tourism Board (STB). 

The collective will be presenting an Audio-Video performance in collaboration with visual artists, Aarushi and Diviyam. You can access the performance via the link below.

Project 2020 by Nanyang Collectives

Nanyang Collectives, under the music direction of conductor Dedric Wong De Li, performed at the Esplanade Recital Studio. The ensemble performed original works composed by Avik Chari, Dr Kee Yong, Eric Watson and Zhong Xizuan. The performance was attended by minister Edwin Tong as well as numerous other composers and conductors.

Brahmastra Festival of Arts and Music 2021 (BTS)

Join Brahmastra in the upcoming festival in partnership with Somerset Belt and powered by Ministry of Communications, Community and Youth (MCCY) and National Youth Council (NYC). We have featured artists and musicians from across the island from the traditional and contemporary fraternities.

Aikyam - The Oneness

Join award-winning Indo-ASEAN contemporary ensemble Brahmastra as they present the world premiere of their new album, Aikyam – The Oneness.

Featuring six original compositions, the new album is an immersive musical experience that will take you through the journey of Brahmastra as they explore life’s meaning through music and the soulful connections that manifest. Enjoy a blend of music from different communities such as Indian folk, Carnatic and Hindustani classical music, jazz, blues, funk, and more. This album includes the award-winning composition, Thadai Edhuvai.

Alongside these new tracks, Brahmastra will also be performing music from past releases include Desire, Inner Urge and Kadhalin Kaatre.

December looks like an exciting month for those who miss immersive cultural performances with the upcoming Brahmastra Festival of Arts and Music.

A partnership with the Somerset Belt, the digital Brahmastra Festival will feature local traditional and contemporary art forms to celebrate Singapore’s arts and cultural diversity. “A hallmark of Singapore uniqueness is its cultural diversity, and that is what Brahmastra aims to represent by being that bridge which allows arts, music and dance to come together to showcase our cultural unity,” said Joe Tan, a Somerset Belt Youth Community Lead. 

This festival also hopes to appeal to music researchers, music enthusiasts and video directors. There will be six main acts and 18 other supporting acts throughout the month of December.
